If Selma Lagerlöf, Nobel Prize for Literature in 1909, had been predicted that her Nils Holgersson, after crossing Finland from North to South, would travel around the world, then land at the dawn of the 80's in a Japanese animation studio to be made into a statue 4 decades later by an inspired sculptor, no doubt that she would have remained dubious.
And yet, what could be more universal than the adventures of this repentant rascal, cousin of Tom Pouce and ethologist before his time? Neither Morten the gander nor Carrot the tiny hamster would claim the contrary.
Do not hesitate any longer, it is up to you to believe it, take your momentum and let yourself be taken on a cruise on the gander of Nils.
